In other news, I have a new Halo/Nintendo mix video coming up. It has been filmed and recorded, just gotta put it through After Effects and cut it together. Can't really give an ETA, as I mainly work on these things when i'm feeling up to it. But it should be out before June (Hopefully)

News: What's next.....

Alright winter break is coming up, with christmas right around the corner. I have "Halo Kart" currently in production, with the video filmed and post production standing by. Unfortunately as I am heading to my parents place for the holidays, I wont have the equipment i need to continue work on it. So Halo Kart will be set aside until the New Year. I've also got a few "shorts" in mind, but those will come around later.

Making a "skill" montage isn't something I normally do, but this isn't even really a skill montage itself. It's more of a highlight reel showcasing some of my better or luckier moments throughout my Halo 3 career. I know the gameplay isn't MLG good or anything, but I'm not an MLG player. I was in Vegas a bit longer than I expected (about 2.5 months longer), but I'm back home and ready to get back on the videos. I also recently got the Adobe Production Premium CS5, which seems to take care of the "glitchyness" that has been in a few of my later videos (using footage that I captured from xbox). There are a few projects I need to wrap up and others I want to start, but in the mean time enjoy this little moment I captured during the Halo: Reach Beta

News: All videos on Hiatus

I am posting this message to inform you all of my current situation. I have 2 video's on the table: HMB 2nd Doubles Torney and HMB: Reach Experience. I have the clips for these ready to go, but there are some bugs that still need working out before I can begin. I want these and future video's to look as good as possible, but an unknown occurrence during exporting is causing the videos to look scrambled and messy at points. So until I can get this problem sorted, I won't be releasing any videos. When we have significant events take place, I will request clips and content, but this content will only be collected and put on hold. I hope I can get this sorted out quickly as I want to continue work on these, but for the time being all highlight and recap vids are being put on hiatus.

At this point, the earliest for me to get this resolved would be in about 2 weeks. It might be earlier, It might be later. Please stand by......

News: Stuff in Progress

I know it's been a while since I have updated here. School has really been breathing down my neck. But, I do have a few videos in progress:

Halomon- Similar to Legend of Halo, this has finished preparatory stages and is currently in production. I had originally hoped to have it released sooner, but there have been delays. But I work on it a bit at a time and hope to have it completed by the end of the month.

Road Trip- The cross country move from Maryland to Nevada is still in progress. I haven't devoted as much time to it as I would like, but hope I can get it done soonish.

Halo 2 Tribute- This idea came to me about a week ago. With Live support for the original xbox being cut off, Halo 2 will practically die with it. (There's still LAN parties and campaign, but how often do people play those?) That is still in the planning stages, but is small enough of a project to be completed quickly.

With those in the works, I have a bit of work to do. Just stay on the line.

News: Anger and new stuff

I've been checking my YouTube page lately, and it seems that youtube is cracking down on my videos. They've started removing the audio because of copyright crap. I know they can and probably have good reason to, but I hate seeing my video's audio altered. I made sure to include the song title, song artist and album name, but whatever. If too many of my videos loose their audio tracks, I may have to just flat out remove them. I'm not using the crap that youtube gives you to replace the audio.

I've also been thinking about my future in making montages. It's kind of loosing it's fun for me. But that issue is still up for debate.

On the plus side, I have a video that's coming along nicely. I hope to have it done by April or so. Just keep an eye out for it. Any future projects (Nintendo-Halo images basically) have been postponed until this video is done.

News: Cancellation

So it has finally come to this......

After weeks and weeks of delay, I have decided to flat out cancel my halo 3 series Outpost 27-Delta.

I just don't have the same desire or will to continue this series as I once did. I realize that I'm not much of a machinimator (If that's even a word). I'm not like RoosterTeeth, with 5+ people to work on this with. I'm not like DigitalPh33r, who can manage to do his work completely solo. So I believe I'll stick to stuff I am better at, namely various montages and photoshop. I did have the next few episodes planned out already, but with the constant delays of episode 2, I never really went out of my way to get it done. So I just want to put it out of the way for newer things.

Thank you to everyone who provided voice clips for various characters. Even though I never used them, I appreciate your willingness to take the time to record and send them to me. I also want to thank those who volunteered to play various characters for filming purposes. It would have been near impossible without you guys. So.....

Onto brighter news.

I am in the working stages of a suicide/betrayal montage with a buddy of mine from Hawty McBloggy Forums, SonofMacPhisto. We've gotten the idea put together, clips laid out, and song selected. Now it just needs putting together. Look for it in a few days, hopefully out by Sunday night.

After that I'll begin work on Halo 3: Nintendo Style Series 2. This will include 5 new "screenshots", as well as a cover art piece per screen, making a total of 10 images. Look for that around a month from now, maybe sooner if I find extra time to work on it.

News: Quiet

So it's been rather quiet around here. With Fyreball.com down, there have been no new fyrefights and i have been unable to get my last audio file. Of course once I get that, I'll get episode 2 out ASAP.

News: Any Day Now

So Episode 2 is still underway.

Many different factors have led to the delay being this long. The latest one being my main source of communication with others went down, and has been down for a few weeks now. I do have all the voice overs, save one. I would do the voice over myself, but it's one of the bigger roles and it will be obvious if I voice two of the major roles.

So until Fyreball.com gets back online, Episode 2 will be delayed until further notice.

News: Episode 2 delayed

So I was hoping to have episode 2 out by this weekend, but things changed and I realized something.

I can't voice act at all.

I can only really do the one voice. Trying to do multiple voices all still sound the same. So I dropped that idea and am recruiting help for various voices. This takes longer to find people, get their recorded voices, then add it.

The good news is filming is done, video is finished. I just need the dialog and soundtrack. So once I get those voice-overs, it won't take to long to get out. So expect it soonish.

News: Son of a .......

So I was all ready to start production on episode 2 of outpost 27-Delta, when my xbox froze. I looked at it and sure enough, those three red rings were blinking there, laughing at me.

So until I can send it in, get it fixed, and get it back, all productions will be on hold.

News: Good and Bad

On the one hand, we had our 30th Fyrefight today, and I am currently working on the recap.

But on the other hand, Outpost 27-Delta Episode 2 has been delayed again. Lots of stuff going on lately, and I just haven't had time to get to it. Hopefully I'll get some work done on it this week, and it may be out this next weekend.

Update: Further Delay

So my new series, Outpost 27-Delta, has been further delayed. My stupid Premiere Pro is acting up and wont render the video. I have to wait till monday to contact adobe about it, so it won't even be released until at least then.

But on the bright side, there will be a fyrefight recap sometime today or tomorrow. We played in halo 3, so I can make a recap for it, though it will be a short one this time around.

Sorry for the lack of information lately. I have ben busy working on my latest machinima, tweaking it until it is as good as I can make it with my limited abilities. Plus I got "The Force Unleashed" yesterday, and spent the whole day playing that.

So I have created my first machinima. It's only mediocre, voices are lacking, not as good as it could have been. I admit I did rush this one, got to excited to get it out. Next time it will be better.

Speaking of next time, I do have an idea in mind for a serious machinima. The first episode probably won't be released for a while though, as this time I am going to take it slow and make sure I create something worth putting out. But look for it in a few weeks.

So there is no Fyrefight Recap this week. We played in halo 2, and as mentioned before, I can only really recap in halo 3 due to theater mode. But getting away from that....

I am still waiting on conformation for a machinima series I have in mind. There is one short film I will most likely work on this week, and hopefully have out by next weekend. It would be a stand-alone episode, unless I could expand upon it, which I really doubt.

In regard to the live-action fight, I have finished splitting up the scenes, and am in the process of picking the best takes and getting them in order. The overall quality of the fight is lacking, and I may need to adjust some of my plans, as it doesn't really live up to what I had expected. This fight may never see the public, but that will be determined when I get it finished.

News: No Recap This Week....

So There wont be a 23rd Fyrefight Recap. Not due to lack of participation though, just it was in a different game, Marathon 2.

Unfortunately for me, my abilities are limited, and can only make recaps for Fyrefights played in Halo 3. We all know that the theater mode in H3 is awesome, giving you a view of the battle from pretty much anywhere. If i attempted a recap in most other games, it would only document what I was doing at the time. And no one wants to see that....

But the good news is that I am starting to get my machinima ideas together. Hopefully the pilot episode for my first series will be released within the month, early to mid september. As for the live action fight, it's not exactly as i planned it, but it's coming along slowly but steadily.

Hopefully next week a new recap will be up.

Well I am back from my two week vacation time, and have a load of things to catch up on. First off, I have 3 fyrefight recaps due, 2 which should be out today, and the third later on. Second, I have just finished filming for my live action fight, and am in the editing stages. The editing takes alot of time, so that wont be done for a few months. I also have an idea for a machinima series, as well as a short one episode that could go into more, but more on that later....

News: Vacation Time and New Project

So I am off to the lake for two weeks. I won't be able to put out any fyrefight vids, as I wont have access to my computer.

But while there I will begin filming for a live-action fight I have had in the planning stage for a while now.

So while some things are put on hold, others are underway.

Hello all!

I am CrazedOne1988, and am just getting starting into the world of Machinima. Here is where I will be posting Recap Videos of Fyrefights held on Halo 3 and other videos I create.
