News: Not a lot of time
So I haven't had as much time as I had hoped I would. Between school and work, I don't have much time to commit to making videos and such. But I do have a project in mind I hope to get off the ground here soonish. Just stay tuned.....

Alright. While I have gotten stuff done, it's not what I intended. I finished the cedar point trip, but have yet to finish the CDG Challenge. That will be next on my list. I also don't have as much time as I used to, due to being back in school. So things may take a while to get out. Just wait and I'll get them done when I have the time.

Video: SoF HaloCharts Challenge
A few weeks back, the Spirits of Fire held a challenge against the admins of HaloCharts.com. Afterwards, as I usually do, I put a little montage together recapping the event (to a degree). It didn't release for a while as I didn't really get a lot of content, but managed to pull some screenshots off of bungie.net to fill the gaps.

In other news, the cover art of Halo 3: Nintendo style Series 2 is near completion. I expect to have it out sometime this weekend. There is also a new HMB forum night video to make, and the next H3:NS Demo video is is the planning stages. So until then.....

News: Anger and new stuff
I've been checking my YouTube page lately, and it seems that youtube is cracking down on my videos. They've started removing the audio because of copyright crap. I know they can and probably have good reason to, but I hate seeing my video's audio altered. I made sure to include the song title, song artist and album name, but whatever. If too many of my videos loose their audio tracks, I may have to just flat out remove them. I'm not using the crap that youtube gives you to replace the audio.
I've also been thinking about my future in making montages. It's kind of loosing it's fun for me. But that issue is still up for debate.
On the plus side, I have a video that's coming along nicely. I hope to have it done by April or so. Just keep an eye out for it. Any future projects (Nintendo-Halo images basically) have been postponed until this video is done.

News: Cancellation
So it has finally come to this......
After weeks and weeks of delay, I have decided to flat out cancel my halo 3 series Outpost 27-Delta.
I just don't have the same desire or will to continue this series as I once did. I realize that I'm not much of a machinimator (If that's even a word). I'm not like RoosterTeeth, with 5+ people to work on this with. I'm not like DigitalPh33r, who can manage to do his work completely solo. So I believe I'll stick to stuff I am better at, namely various montages and photoshop. I did have the next few episodes planned out already, but with the constant delays of episode 2, I never really went out of my way to get it done. So I just want to put it out of the way for newer things.
Thank you to everyone who provided voice clips for various characters. Even though I never used them, I appreciate your willingness to take the time to record and send them to me. I also want to thank those who volunteered to play various characters for filming purposes. It would have been near impossible without you guys. So.....

Onto brighter news.
I am in the working stages of a suicide/betrayal montage with a buddy of mine from Hawty McBloggy Forums, SonofMacPhisto. We've gotten the idea put together, clips laid out, and song selected. Now it just needs putting together. Look for it in a few days, hopefully out by Sunday night.
After that I'll begin work on Halo 3: Nintendo Style Series 2. This will include 5 new "screenshots", as well as a cover art piece per screen, making a total of 10 images. Look for that around a month from now, maybe sooner if I find extra time to work on it.

Video: Hawty McBloggy BSG Mixer 12/20/2008
So I spent the last few weeks in Maryland, away from my desktop and recording gear. But now that I am back in Utah (ugh) I can get back to recording.
